Not sure why i didnt start this when i joined? but as they say better late than never
Purchased bike Dec of 08' from Mission Cycle in Barrie Ontario, with approx 7700km's on the dial. Was more or less stock when i picked her up, did have a progrip tank pad though. Prev bike was an 02F4i Red Silver
one happy dude on a cold Dec day
On deck is installing my sliders, and ordering Woodcraft Case Covers. Hard to believe all the goodies ive added thus far, note to self do NOT tally up the $ lol
Could you give me some more info/pics on your rear res delete. It's clean as hell and it's something I really want to do. Any information or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hey thx man. Heres the breakdown
- Buy the 45deg angled 15cc Brembo Res from Superbike Supply $15
- remove oem res (drain fluid first of course)
- i simply cut oem hose from master (left about 2-3")
- attached Brembo Res (re use oem clamp)
- add new fluid of your choice and bleed line
- for extra piece of mind i used a tie wrap to secure res to line
- the oem bracket would have bugged me, so i used a dremel and cut it off.
Got my sets today, once again wanted to thank Diego for coming through, glad i found them when i did, thx man:shakehand Will post more pics when there built
waiting on my CF Triple cover as well as a mint cond right headlight! finally found one i'll be selling my old one with slight hazing in the spring. Gotta say that hazing light bugged me big time! after install ill prob look at getting the Volt HID kit WITH UV cut bulbs this time
Also been thinking about the tape works "shadow decals" $60 not bad, ive seen it on bikes and think it looks good really makes it pop and something diff imo, just have to be sure i drink beer AFTER install lol
i dont think you should put the shadow decals on, i think its too busy looking
I love how the blue on your bike right now flows well with silver/black.
I just put my carbon fiber top bridge cover on, looks soo cool
Evo Tech Gas Cap and yoke nut for sure, also the stick on CF top of tank piece as well (as i mentioned not a big fan of the stick on stuff personally, but this piece will look good) def looks better on white bikes; last thing this off season is chain adjusters, still considering diff brands but love the look of the lightechs
This is by far the best photo of your CBR in my opinion. You do realise once you have finished adding all the parts you want during the off-season you are going to have to go out for another photo shoot?!?

Minister of war and finance lmao, yup will be great for a photo shoot for sure. When ever i decide to get a new ride, i highly doubt it will be brand new unless theres some crazy a$$ deal somewhere, id prefer it to have a few mods done already anyways. You will start to see more '12 1K's FS eventually just like any other bike, getting the aniv addition would be nice
Received the CF Triple Cover today, looks great, and a mint cond Right Headlight which ive been trying to find for what seems like forever, was lucky enough to find it on kijiji from a guy in T.O, $90 was a great price! will be replacing my "hazzed" or "fogged" one with this one, will try and sell my other one later for a cheap price. Next up besided my GP Pro gloves will be the CF headlight side pieces
