Cameras are everywhere. It's just who has access to them. Those cameras are not password protected where most IP based cameras are so not everyone can view them. T

Simple IP camera needs power and Cat5 camera to operate. Run the cat 5 to a switch and assign IP and your set.

Expensive Wireless IP will have a power supply and a wireless transmitter to wired receiver then to cat 5 and into a switch.

Just find the camera you are wanting and get it. Also have POE cameras Power over Ethernet that only need one wire to power and transmit data. They can also have motion detection activated to record.
Let me know what you get or are interested in and I can help.
Just depends how much you want to spend. T

You can get a wireless webcam for about 150+

I had a linksys, for my garage. It had a motion sensor on it, it would send me a text message when something moved. It could see in almost complete darkness.

It just has to be within range of your wireless router, and needs to be plugged into an outlet.

You have to make a couple setting changes within the wireless router to access it remotely, but if you're watching it within your LAN its usually pretty plug and play.
