TPS throttle position sensor help, where is it?? Here are pics of where
hi guys, installing PCIII and instructions state TPS is on the left etc but i have no idea, there is a blue/black cable up by the fuses that is same coloured wires but only 2, so i gave that a miss, next part that fits the plugs is in the centre of injectors, lower up a bit, where the fuel tank would hide it kinda once it would be lowered..is this the TPS? as i plugged it in and it fits, but my friend stated if i plug it into the wrong wires PCIII will die,
so bit worried, any pics of the TPS and help of where it is, ie it is above about 2inches from the lower injector plugs i just placed into wiring harness of PCIII
thanks, need help asap so i can get back in the garage..

it is bolted to the left of the throttle bodies. under the left fairing.
if you can find the throttle bodies just start following them to the left. when you get to the extreme left side of the Throttle body the black electrical device on the left is the tps. there may be some large rectangular black relays bolted to the frame in the way that need to come loose first.

That looks like it. The US models have a red/yellow, green/orange, and yellow/red wires at the connector. Probably the same for Aussies as well.

good, now everyone has a pic to go by if they get stuck like i did with the PCIII install,
thanks
BTW
A lesson to all whom install PCIII by themself for the first time..KEEP TRACK OF EVERY LITTLE THING, AS IT CAN COME BACK TO BITE YOU LATER ON, EVEN A SIMPLE 5% OFF BEING EXACT ANGLE CAN MEAN BIKE HAS PROBLEMS, SO REINSTALL TPS AT EXACT ANGLE YOU UNSCREW IT
thanks all for your help..i will become a mechanic by the end of all of this..lol
