Okay to jump the battery using the car

someone told me not to try it.... since the bike battery is to small.. is that an issue.

My battery went low.. and I guess its time for a new one.. but still need tyo jump start it.

I've heard (never tried) that it's ok as long as you do NOT turn on the car with jumper cables connected.
honestly it's easy to bump start the bike so I've never used jumper cables + car battery

I've done it a couple times with my old 2006. Never caused a problem. That was stolen, so I can only hope that it now is a problem =)

Honestly, I can't see it being a big deal. I think they say do not do it because Honda has to cover their ass.

jumped mine once ... just used some motorcycle jumper cables. used those to jump a car from another car too actually

with the engine off, the voltage is the same.

I did it once; the day I bought the bike. Nothing happen, and the bike still good 500 miles later.
