so when to the race track yester day and ran my bike. was running in the 12s and 11s. then i finally did my last one and got the baby to go 10.92 secs. any of u guys ran ur 1/4 ?
fyi- running a 05 stock gearing with bmc filter, TBR slip-on and PCV.

I've never tried? probably would be fun to go out for a day and give it a shot. 10.92 is a nice time OP.

btw im only weighs 120lb, so my the front end would always try to fly. its really fun cause u can see improvements from time..my other buddy with an 05 as well with only a +1 -2 gear mod, was doing around 11s too.

Damn, lightweight. I am trying to get back to my riding weight of 180 lbs. Hopefully 160 lol oh hell. 180 and I'll get a cam from HRC for cheap. Yes I know where to get HRC parts for cheap, nanana boo boo!

First time out to the 1/4 on my 03 it pulled a 10.68 but I did make a few passes on our local 1/8th before so had a lil practice. My 07 haven't ran the 1/4 but in the 1/8th my best is a 6.67. Both bikes were stock with a slip on. Haven't been in a couple years but I always had fun because none of our local guys can ride and its fun beating up on the bigger bikes with a 600 haha.

It seems to me the magazines could get into the 10.7's on an 07, so to be within 0.2 is great! Nice riding.

haha yeah, kinda expensive huh? Well for my year bike it says +6 midrange and +2 top end increase. It tunes the airflow by the length of each one. Which would require tuning each individual cylinder.

So a newbie question then, with a -1 +2 gear change, would that realistically drop the quarter mile time by a few 10's if I could get a decent launch?

Yes, your top speed will be affected but you don't reach your top speed in a quarter mile.

Wow, i guess i will never get those times on a 600. I am 200lb trying to reach 210 - 210lb.

ur times get really good too, if u pratice on ur Launches , that really makes a different, theres was also time when i shift from first to second and i went into neutral, which sucks

no, some tracks require that you have a plug drilled into the kill switch that is attached to your arm/sleeve and if the rider falls off the bike the plug somes out of the switch and stops the bikes engine
