Brilliant purchase congrats man turn it into a CF Street legal RR or take it to the track man
and really learn how to ride that beauty like it was built for you got other bikes to ride on
the street and being in Canada now would be the time for those track days before winter comes around
Scotilac - thanks man... We should get a little dotnet cruise setup next summer.
Moeman - thanks for the kind words. Its going to be a Carbon Fibre street machine that sees track days. I can't afford 2 bikes right now lol, so it will be used for both, plus, a cf 600rr on the street is badass! Haha
That thing is SET UP. I am curious though, only 114HP? I would have thought it to be closer to 118~122ish do you know the correction factor of the dyno? anyway plenty of parts to go fast the bike will not be the limiting factor LOL
dmj_88 - thanks! Its all I could ever ask for haha... And thats on pump gas, it's up around 126 on race gas... And yea, the bike is not the limiting factor haha.
Moeman - trust me, its killing me lol, but its already very cold down here, so I will get it all setup, fairing re-cleared, lights installed and everything, then come out next season all ready :D

Sounds like a plan bro its still high 80's over here
I shed a tear for this bike once i read your original post. It's so sad for that bike to go to the streets to wait at traffic lights.
Congrats on your purchase!
I have a full carbon set too on my 1krr and on of my 600rr's and people under estimate exactly how light the fairings really are my wife was holding the upper by her pincky finger amazed at how light it was.
If you end up selling the yoyodine cf ram air lmk first please because on one of my 600rr's the pax side cf ram air cracked t peices after my last crash
and i would take the cf battery tray i have fiberglass ones right now
good luck with it and stay on top of the maintenance on that motor or i would throw in a stock one in for street riding and throw the other end on track weekends.

btw a friend of mine was telling me about this bike at jennings not too long ago when the seller was willing to deliverm, but he didn't have enough cash to get it and the asking price was insane low considering the motor work is worth about 2 grand alone. i told him he needs to sell his computer and 60' plasma to get it but no luck.
happy that it went to a good home at a awesome deal.

Yea, its not that I want to put it on the street, just the financial situation won't allow me to have a street and a track bike. Plus I'm building a race car and I just don't have the cash to leave it as a race bike, but trust me she will see track days galore!
Maintenance wise, I will definitely stay on top of and Im looking at the stock motor situation as well.
I got the pm and will respond in a bit, just heading to a car show right now and I will be selling the cf ducts.
