Long story short, when I was 19 I owned a 06 Gsxr 750 and High sided @ Palomar mnt here in Socal... dislocated my shoulder and messed up a few of my ribs pretty good and messed up my wrist let alone my Gsxr was a loss...
After growin my balls back a few years later and gettin a steal on my Cbr I figure it was a Win-Win type thing. Bough it used with just under 6000 miles.

- Aluminum Racing Rims
- Red/blk s/s brake lines
- Rear Sets
- And ALL THE CARBON FIBER goodies I can get my hands on.
I don’t really plan much on racing on the track or the mnt’s much… it is my commuter for work.. but will hit the track occasionally here and there.
Here she is on the first night that I got her which isn't to long ago. mid October of 2011
First mod I bought. HardRacing hooked me up with the LeoVince S/O the Last one they had in stock. My Girl also picked me up a S&S helmet. this was taken some time in Late Oct.
F/E kit, I.T and everything else was pretty much installed a few short days later.
on 11/11/11 I was spotted by a member "RyRy" in socal on my way to Southbay to pick up my Alpinestar Bionic Back Protector only Diff is that I added my JPR levers and my Girl Got me a Shoei X11 kiyonari dome Piece
And since It's been raining here in Socal I wanted to do something I been wanting to do since Day one... which was get rid of all the Silver on the Bike.. 11/12/11 - 11/14/11 so I Painted the Silver Mid's to match the Red on the rest of the Bike (Cleaner look I think).... Added reflective Rim Tape... used industrial black paint for the sub frame and rear sets and pass pegs... (only temp as I will be getting rear sets shortly) and this is what I ended up with as of 30 min ago as I just finished up puttin her back together.
let me know what you guys think... what I should add/do/redo/take out?
Looks fantastic! nice job with the paint, it flows much better with the red mids and black paint you did.
I suggest a dark-smoke double bubble (Puig), Sato rearsets, rear seat cowl, wave rotors, and case protectors.
edit: throw in Tripage's pc'd rearsets with led signals too for better visibility since you ride the street. And tell the gf you need new riding boots.

Looks smokin' hot to me bro! I'd just lose the reflectors and get a black db screen unless you wanted to get super fancy with it.
I just noticed that, that will be coming off tonight, as for the black DB might just go with a Hotbodies one or just Paint Mine.

Thanks Bro, yea been wanted to get rid of the silver since I got it. Sato Rearsets are the ones that I was actaully looking at in getting. and Tripage's LED pass Pegs will be done pretty soon been debating about them.. and about the Boots.. its in the works for X-mas haha

I would recommend buying a black DB windscreen as opposed to painting. I decided to spray mine while I waited to buy a DB, but the paint didn't look very good. I bought a zero gravity dark smoke DB and took the stickers off; it looks so much better. Not to mention cuts down on wind resistance.

Yours looks good and I've seen a bunch of pics where it turned out nice. My friend did the screen for his 1krr the same time/same way I did mine and his came out perfect. It definitely is a good way to save some $$ if you do it properly.

Acutally no it didnt... It's the LeoVince Unlimited with Conical Tip, one of the many reasons why I picked this pipe was it didnt exceed the I.T. I believe the Unlimited is just a bit shorter than the Evo.

I plan on getting one but for the mean time Painting it wouldnt be to bad or I might just use some Left over 3M C/F vinyl wrap I have leftover from a project that I did.
How did you get the red mids to match so well? Did you paint them yourself?
I had a buddy Paint my Mid's, he paints on the side.. I gave him my rear tail section and had it matched to that. its not 100% Show perfect OEM spec.. but Color matches 99% Im Happy with it. And for $65 Bucks (Supplies and labor) I couldnt complain. If you want his Info send me a PM

No more Matching J's for the CBR... I was able to get my Boots for the mean time till x-mas comes around.
Rdubzz - nice alpine jacket got the same one, also did you cut the leo at all or is that stock from the box with how that sits....and thanks for the info on the JPR's....gonna get a set....
