Gubellini Steering Damper?

Anybody riding arround with a FG Gubillini damper??? (https://www.harris-performance.com/w...ng_Damper.html) I recently read a product profile of it in UK SuperBike Mag but don't know how well it works. Supposedly the damper only starts working when the steering turns at a high speed (ie tank slapper speed). Great concenpt and the finish looks good as well. Italian made. I wnt one, but would like feedback from users first. Anyone???

I would like to see the mount for the thing cause I bet I could machine one in the shop. That would be killer cause it would cut the cost of a damper in half.

I have not been on the track yet with it so I can't tell you about that but I did take the bike out out on the street up to the local canyon and so far it feels like all of the other steering dampners that I have had. Don't notice anything untill the front starts getting lite on the gas the front stays steady.
There is one section of straight road after a turn where the road kinda lifts alittle and in 3rd gear the front comes right up.When it comes back down the bike is soild no shake at all. My next track day is in April.
How much? ... 450 ish.
I could have gone with Ohlins or some other brand but it is something different that I have'nt seen yet on any other RR's so I thought I try it.
We'll see in April
