I got the gold because the bike is pretty much all matte black and I thought a few gold touches would make it that much sweeter! I'm just going to change the pegs, brake/clutch levers and both foot levers.
Fixed it for you. I'm not a fan of gold at all and don't care for this, but if you like it that is all that matters. The next mod I would do if I was you is get an IT and take that hideous stock tail light off.

Theres a few Fender eliminators you can check out. Targa FE, CBRheaven.com, Tripage.com just to name a few... I dont think the gold looks too bad. I would spray paint ur gas cap either black or gold... Ur just starting the mods the bike will come together nice when ur eventually done...
That gold color doesn't really do it for me. If it was a deep bronze I think it would look pretty sweet but that bright gold just sticks out kinda oddly in my opinion.
Here's mine so far. It was just in an accident so I have pleny more upgrades coming (i.e. TBR black series carbon fiber exhaust, Tripage zenon headlights with halos). SO far I've done most of the Tripage updates: Turn signals integrated in the passenger pegs, the integrated taillight, and the fender eliminator with white LED's in the hugger, Click-a-roll shorty levers and Shogun frame sliders all around. I'm also in the process of getting a new windscreen. I just purchased the Puig smked double bubble, but it doesn't fit right near the 3rd light so I'm sending it back.

My favorite mod on my graffiti was the projector headlight mod. I plan on doing the borkas kit soon because the ebay ones i got have horrible light output.
Ps i thought the red would look alot cooler but am contemplating on taking it out. Opinions are welcomed.
I like the red, for mine I ordered all white LEDs. But now you got me thinking if I should put them on the top or bottom!
