I was just going to post about this weekend.. Sounds good to me. There HAS to be more 600rr riders in the area, or does everyone have gsxrs these days..?
I hear ya, but as long as they ride like humans and keep safety in mind gskr's and anyone else for that matter may join. We're all NY'ers and two wheels is two wheels, lets all play nice together in the sand box. Last couple of times out, me and my homie headed down into the village of Port Jefferson where the ferry to CT is....and it was packed. Lots of bikes/things to do, places to eat, live music. Good vibe down there, awesome chill spot.
I'm in for this weekend!
I'm out usually after 1 pm, work till then and hit some twisties and head on over. Probably around 3-4 pm. We stay for a while, then cruise all the backroads back east.
Jones Beach Air Show is this Sat and Sunday. I work right next McArthur airport and I can literally the fighter jets flying over head and landing...sick!!
Right behind the airport off Vets. In a little office complex accross from the Hilton hotel. Behind Mamma Mia's restuarant (same builidng).
That must be wicked kool to work over there??
yep, I'm good for tomorrow afternoon as well. Down with the meet & greet too
edit: I'm riding on a plug right now (rear tire). It's not leaking any air, but I don't think I used enough of that rubber cement for an even better seal. Would you guys advise going out for a ride tomorrow? Last thing I want is to be stranded somewhere far from home (I live in Queens)...

Let me know if you fell safe enough to meet up?
Depending on where the whole is, you should be fine. I plug tires all the time they hold for thousands of miles...with the leaning and aggesiveness of a sportsbike, I would still get it checked.
i rode with a plug for like 500 miles. this was last summer! i got it around july 4th and it lasted until i replaced it. i did one like "hard" ride but mainly commute. just take it easy and it will be fine. soo what about this meet? im working the weekend but if the time is right i might come by
Ok, so where should we meet and where should we ride to? Dpa -> bayville, Hicksville -> Huntington, DPA -> Port Jeff... Depends where everyone is coming from and how long everyone wants to ride...
Depends on where everybody wants to do? Port Jeff will be nice and packed, so will Huntington, Bayville also around the main beach. Don't matter to me, I'll ride anywhere, and I'm good to meet anytime tomorrow.
1 pm sounds good to me, if you're coming from queens we should meet in Hicksville. Only question is destination...
