Akraprovic Spring Clips Broken - Common Problem

I fitted a full Akra system about 10K miles/ 1-2 years ago and my mech has just called to say he has found a problem.

Its where the down pipes attach to the collecter - at least three of the hoops for the springs to attach to have vacated the building (along with the springs of course)



Anyone know how to fix? Is this something Akra should be fixing for me?

Also anyone point me to how to contact Akra - cant find anything except links to dealer sites :(

did u buy it from akra. or did you get it from a dealer and have them install it too. Or did you tune it and all the above. If dealer did it just call them, thats what their there for. They know the ins and outs

It was an online place who delivered it and I had it fitted and mapped locally. Trying to find just where it was I got it originally at moment but as its over a year no doubt get pointed to Akra if I have any comeback atall

Your local muffler shop should be able to weld new anchors (hoops) for cheap.

Contact Performance Parts Ltd (http://www.performanceparts-ltd.com/) as they are the UK Importer for Akrapovic. They should be able to help you out or point you in the right direction.

Offer to fix under good will but I never sent it off as its not ping anywhere and can't be without bike for x weeks.
