First, I hate you for having a Taylor.
Second, I hate you for having 6 guitars.
Third, I play a Jackson Crimson Swirl Randy Rhoads 3.
;) hey man no need for hate. I only have 3 good ones the others are basically started guitars and my acoustic and first electric. You probably havnt heard the brand. Their Cort. Their cheap but they sound pretty good. The. My 3 real good ones are the taylor, a takamine nylon. And a Mexican fender strat. I used to have a gibson les paul studio and before that an epiphone les paul. I'm only 18 and I'm tryin to work on a nice collection. Oh and a cordoba ukulele.
Taylor make some lovely guitars. I'd quite like to get a really good quality Taylor acoustic.
Unfortunately, I hardly play now. I Just have a cheapo Fender dreadnought, a cheapo nylon stringer and a Parker P44 Pro now.
The P44 is a beautiful guitar:
Have previously owned:
Squier strat (learner guitar)
Epiphone Sheraton
Ibanez RG320FA
ESP Explorer (backup guitar)
OLP (Backup guitar - music man cheapo replica)
Gibson Les Paul 1960 Classic
Gibson Les Paul Standard
By far and away the best guitar I have owned was the Epi Sheraton. After that, comes the Gibson Les Paul Classic. Gibson Les Paul Standard was one of the worst, believe it or not.

Gibson makes some pretty good guitars but I agree some of them just don't cut it for me. I owned a Gibson les Paul studio I picked up used and it was really nice as a quality guitar for me. But I traded that in last week to help pay for my taylor. I bought it used but the guy never touched it so it was basically brand new. It's a 2009 taylor 714ce LTD with Madagascar rosewood which has been banned for import here in the US. By far the best guitar I've ever played. And yes your P44 is really sweet looking. I like the different look that just a les Paul or strat. Keep playin man!
I'm at about 60 right now, but my main axe is a $3,700.00 Rodriguez classical made in Spain.
I buy and sell on CL, build from scratch, refurbish and assemble. I only shoot real nitro-cellulose lacquers.
I do like Taylor, have an 815CE but prefer *real* Martin's.
Holy hell 60?? I thought I had a lot. True guitarists can never have enough. And I do like Martins they have a nice tone to them but they just don't fit me. Just personal preference. Just how some people prefer Kawasaki over Honda. And what do you consider "real" martins?

Not really hatin' Yeah I know Cort, it is a starter brand for sure. Takamine is real nice, I have a semi acoustic one which I absolutely love; I get great resonance/feel and sound from it. If you Like Gibson style guitars but don't really dig what they have become, try Heritage guitars. They are a brand started by some previous Gibson employees and are more true to real Gibson quality and feel than the current Gibsons. They are played by one of my favorite guitarists, Alex Skolnick of Testament.

I see a lot of people here have electric guitars more than acoustics so many must like metal type music. I guess I'm the minority here because I play finger style music and upbeat stuff such as Jason Mraz and John Mayer. I do like some metal it's fun and sometimes gets my anger out. Haha but I'm an upbeat happy guy usually and my music fits my personality. Not saying metal is bad at all so nobody bash me. I like megadeth and bands like that too. I'm just more acoustic. Lol

Actually most Cort guitars have other names on them. Some VERY nice guitars from other companies were made in Cort factories.
Yes Cort is a very nice brand but I havnt bought any of the nice models. I went straight for the well known brands like taylor. Nothing wrong with Cort at all they got great sounds and great price
Lol I know it is but before posting that I just read a metal thread with some of the same people that are posting here and I just immediately thought of metal. I do play electric guitar too. Blues and rock! Stevie Ray Vaughan!!
J i think I'm the only one that got that. or really understands the importants zildjan, and paiste have played in our world not to mention pearl and love the crisp snap of a good piccolo snare.
