Well I never thought it would happen to me, even though everyone says that most riders will go down at some stage or another I didn't think I'd be one of them, well not on road anyway.
I was wrong though, I went for a bit of a slide last night, basically just gassed it (way) too much coming through a corner and the back stepped out big time and I went down. I think it was just a habbit from riding dirt bikes so much in the past to open her up coming out of the corner... as the back wheel stepping out on a dirt bike isn't really a problem lol. After looking at the bike now I've seen that the swingarm spool is actually bent forwards so the bike must have been spun right around before it even hit the ground.
But o well, lesson learned, I'm not invincible and I'm sure I won't be making this mistake again :)
As for the damage, I'm fine, I was wearing gear, I've just got a sore lumpy hand/wrist, slight rash/bruising on the upper thigh and a sore ankle. The bike is what I'm more worried about though as I'll heal up for free lol.
The main damage to the bike is the RHS fairings and the RHS engine cover, every thing else is just little things that I can replace anytime, mirror plastic scratched, indicator scratched, bar end ect.
As its a hanspree edition the fairings are hard to come by, but I have found a place thats selling the bits I need, if anyone knows of anywhere else cheaper than please let me know, otherwise it looks like this is the place.
I'm also trying to figure out the part number for the piece of black plastic that is in between the two fairings that I'm replacing, as that is also scratched and will need replacing, so if anyone knows the number, or how I could find it out that would be a great help! :)
Damn that sucks man! But hell, did you really think crashing on your bike would never happen to you? lol. I'm just busting your chops.
As for the parts, I would do a lot of searching (ebay, craigslist)...ect. Ride the bike with the battle wounds and slowly but surely get her back together. Might take longer, but I bet you could save some money buying pieces from other riders instead of buying from a store.
Just my 2 cents.

Haha, Yeah I know I was probably a bit hopefull
I've been checking out ebay and gum tree (the uk and aus version of craigslist), there is actually a guy on these forums selling a set of OEM hanspree fairings but the two parts I need are the two bits already sold!! lol I guess they are the first parts to cop it in a crash.
Worst part is I've got a set of frame sliders sitting on the table at home which arrived a few days ago that I had been too lazy to put on yet... they woulda saved the majority of this damage I reckon... lol ahh well my laziness fucks me over again

Keep Looking man!
And damn...First you think you'll never go down, then your too lazy to put on your sliders!!!!!!! HAHA. You crazy!
It's all good. Your without serious injury (maybe a little busted ego) and the rest is just material damage. Get her fixed up WITH FRAME SLIDERS installed and get out and ride!

HAHAHA the same thing happened to me only mine were on order when I went down. You're not the only one out there with bad luck
Well I've decided I'm going to fix up my RHS engine cover with help from a guide on here... so that will save me some $$$ for the moment.
As for the fairings... I'm tossing up between just replacing the parts that are damaged with OEM honda gear, for those couple of fairings it will cost me about $750 delivered but it will be back to exactly how it was pre crash...
My other option is aftermarket fairings, I've found a place that does the Hanspree aftermarket fairings and they look to be quite high quality... if I go this option I can get a full replacement for every part on the bike for $625 delivered (I found a 10% off code)... this way I'd have lots of spare stuff if something was to happen again, which I don't intend on happening... but yeah...
I'm kinda leaning towards paying the extra for the OEM stuff, because I've read bad stories about the cheap aftermarket stuff... though these guys seem alright and they aren't dirt cheap $300 a set aftermarket ones so they are probably a bit better quality then other... I dunno...

Thanks very much for the offer mate, I'll defiantly keep it in mind, Just trying to sort out what I'm going to do regarding the replacements at the moment, I will be in touch if I end up going the genuine honda replacement route :)
The links you posted at the beginning are from a German company. I'm posted in Germany with the British Army and can help you out by getting the 19% off tax, bit of paperwork needed on my part but anything to help out! I am due to go back to UK at the end of Nov for a few days. Let me know if you need anything. Having the tax taken off helps a lot!

Thanks so much for your generous offer, it really is appreciated! At the moment it looks like I might be going another route for the fairings, but yeah I do very much appricated that someone from the other side of the world who doesn't know me (except that we both ride bikes) would make such an offer, so thanks
This arvo I got out and had a crack at restoring the engine cover back to its original glory, I think its turned out well so far, still needs a little more sanding but not too bad for only about 45mins work with a dremel and some sand paper.
Here is the before and after from this arvo's effort,
