Hey my name is John and I'm looking for a really good bike so I figured I'd come here. I'm 20 years old and I grew up tracking mazda miatas at willow and doing canyon runs at gmr for quite some time now. I've always liked the cbr because my uncle had a 05 600rr. He never did let me ride it LOL. other than that i really want to get my hands on a 07 08 600rr and start learning some tips on how to start tracking the bike. I commute to college everyday on a 30 minute drive with a 900 dollar beater hoping it wont fail on me LOL. Everyone on craigslist are so sketchy. I have seen about 20 cbr's on craigslist and more than half of them are not even under the pinkslip nor do they even have registration if they do its not even registered! other than that I like to surf/snowboard and I really love the bike community. My passion for racing is very high. Greetings to everyone on here and thank you for taking the time to read my post. This is my first time ever signing up on a forum.
Oh if anyone has a cbr for sale or knows someone selling on let me know im ready to go on cruises with anyone around socal. Hopefully I can get familiar with all this forum type of thing.
I'm from the southbay area and I know motorcycling is not cheap and same goes for track racing as well I don't think any hobby is cheap as all everything you do involves money and I'm sure riding a motorcycle cost almost the same as every other hobby if you're really into it. Whatever makes you happy, then I always go all out. It's true that it is not cheap. I will try to manage and make the best of it.
