where you located? here in cali, i was pulled over for having it under my battery tray. i got a fix-it ticket, moved it to under my exhaust, and haven't had a problem since.

mine is under the battery tray here in MS and ive never had a problem. been there for over a year. my buddy had his mounted on the swingarm vertically and he got pulled over for it.
I have mine as high and my FE is as close to stock as possible...
I never understood the whole I have to hide my plate as deep into my bike and get the most hidden smallest blinkers possible thing.. Don't get my wrong factory rear ends are horrid but a happy medium is where its at for me.. Clean visible for cops and people behind me so I don't become road tar..
