I just received my gauge from Moty Design and all i can say is simply "WOW" The way he integrates the GI on the speedometer looks as if it just rolled off straight from Honda factory line. Brian made sure i got everything i wanted and answered all my questions very fast. Would love to do more business with him in the future and everyone who's been thinking about getting it done. What the hell are you waiting for?
Also forgot to mention that i've changed the gauge leds to red prior to sending it to BB and asked him for black out also. And i don't know if it's just mine but I can't see any other color on the screen but my red numbers unlike some others say that it shows some kind of background color still being present. Mine is truly blacked out which is what i wanted.

brian's work is top notch. has always been. now that he's doing the gauge mod again, i'll have to send mine in. but since it's still decent out to ride, i'll have to wait until a weeklong rain front comes through that forces me to take the cage to work.

DOOOOD, I second that. Brian hooked me up a few years back and it is still as awesome. I have had ZERO problems and I love the red indicator and the color change to the RPM needle and everything else. I do not have a pic with it hooked up but this is what it looks like with the gear indicator cut into the unit. Unbelievable craftsmanship!
Brian does awesome work with impeccable customer service & responsiveness. I'd love to do the Acumen gear indicator, just didn't have the $s right now... Incredibly happy with the LED mod though, completely changes the look of the bike at night, no more boring/ugly amber washout.

is there a DIY install for the gear indicator on the forum anywhere? I'm thinking about doing the reverse LCD screens and LED color change this winter and if its easy enough to add in the GI into the gauges I might try to tackle that while I have the cluster off. (don't yell at me for not searching, if I could I would.. I'm in a hotel with shitty internet)

I'm not sure what the turn around time is but when mine return I'll post it up for you. I got basically blue everything except for indicators, needle and gear indicator. Blue color for tach, etc with blackout.

If memory serves me correct it I got my unit back in about 5 days. It was really quick....he is just one person though so I bet if his volume is high at the time, his turnaround would probably increase; just speculating.
Oh wow, I was expecting weeks. I'm pulling my gauges this weekend and shipping them out. So hopefully another week or so after I'll have some pics of the blackout for you.

BTW I overnighted everything. Mine is blacked out too. I love it. I have not taken any pictures of it at night though. I really does look great!
The black out option definitely look nice, but is it any less visible during daytime?
