I just got accepted to a college near buffalo and I want to know if there is good riding areas. It's not all straight like Michigan. Also Just to let all you fine Americans know that I just hit 23000 on my 08 cbr 600. It was cold and i could not feel my hands but I did it.
Unfortunately there isn't much of anything to ride in buffalo. Only good roads are south to south east of that area. Hell if you're moving to buffalo just go to Toronto motorsports, it's only like an hour away from buffalo, if you want to do some track days. To put it straight forward, The areas in between PA and NY have the good twists and turns. What I always end up doing is figuring out a loop, regardless where the area is, so you can map out the best roads without stopping and going or hitting massive straights.

What college are you heading to? I live out near Buffalo and I've gotta say the riding isn't great unless you can get out to the country. If you head up north towards lake Ontario there's some nice scenic riding and same if you head down into the southern tier. Welcome to Western NY!
South of Buffalo there is some great spots to ride, around Springville and Ellicottville and places like that. There are also some scenic areas along Lake Erie and north of Buffalo along Lake Ontario. Buffalo is a great city. The people are very friendly there. I think you will like it.
