I thought the same thing. It looked like his lines were way off....hence the offroad. Yeah he has some skills but probably pissed off a few racers by diving in on them in a few turns. I personally thought he was a bit sketchy....that being said he is still skilled.
That is Summit Point Main is West Virginia. Summit Point Motorsports Park has 3 road courses. Its about 3hrs from Morgantown. First built in 1969. 2 mile track. I heard the track record in 1:11. When I raced there in the mid 90's the track record was 1:17.

I do not know the track that well, but his lines all look good to me. You cant judge lines by watching a GoPro video.
I have seen Ben race, he was not off line.
He didnt piss anybody off, that is racing. Sometimes when you are faster than someone, but not fast enough to pass them, you have to force your way by. Rubbing elbows is not uncommon in CCS racing.
