Hey everyone,
I just bought a new beast - 05 600rr, white repsol kit - and I'm here to get more info on the mods I'd like to complete over the winter! I've found this forum to be incredibly useful already, and I'm excited to get started on the bike!
I've been riding for a few years, but I hadn't been able to join the 600 class until this year as I'm still a student (insurance and such - we've all been there)... but this is what student loans are for...right?
Before this I had a cbr125 and a ninja250. I worked my way up slowly over a few years, but I was definitely ready to get a bigger bike for the next season. Unfortunately it took longer than I had planned because of finances... but hey, I'm here now!
I'll be replacing the rear hugger, lower left belly fairing, levers (I don't like the gold), repainting the calipers (probably black also) and changing the swingarm to black (not sure which method I'll use yet). It doesn't really "need" any work, but I'd like to personalize it and frankly I just like to work on the bikes. I'm pretty set in terms of mechanical stuff though; it's already got a PC3, new tires, new battery, new v stacks, yoshi rs-5 slip on, steel braided lines, etc. I'm just looking forward to winter so that I can start working on it!
