Motorcycle pit stop

Hey all, i was just watching a video on youtube where they showed a pit stop
For bmw s1000r. I noticed when they took the rear wheel off the sprocket and chain stayed on... Im just curious on how that works

That would be a quick change rear wheel usually used for endurance racing. I'm guessing your looking at something like this.
