Probably a rookie question here but what stuff from an 04 would fit onto an 06? Found a guy near by me selling stuff I need, trying to see if it's worth the trip or a waste of time on both parts

Fairings are different mid/rear. If you can get the subframe you can swap these all out. But I wouldn't go backwards on the years to change these out.
Rear seats are the same.
The fronts are slightly different The 03-04 is more rounded at the rear. The 05-06 is sharper corners at the rear.

I saw somewhere the mods and lowers are interchangeable. That's what I mostly need though. Know anything about the stator cover?

Stator is the same.

Mids/lowers I believe are the same
