I would like to introduce myself, my name is Jeff, and am a new Honda owner.
Coming from a previous dedicated Suzuki owner (01 gsxr600, 02 gsxr600, 02 gsxr1000, 05 gsxr600) I've finally made a change to a Honda. Well, sorta, as I've been riding an 02 F4i for the winter. But to say the least, it's going to be Honda's all year round this time!
One thing that I could say is that F4i has been soooo reliable that I opted for the change!
Of course the 600rr rides way different, but im looking forward to learning about it more!
It's a 2007 600rr. Located in Vancouver BC, I've been looking for a few months and actually was going to buy a 08' gsxr1000 till I checked the vin number and found it was a rebuild and had a lien on it! Guy lied and luckily I've checked. Then thought about it some more, I really don't need a liter bike as I just need it to commute to work. The cbr600rr has better reviews than most and as I said, it seems to be most reliable.
I looked and looked, found newer 600rr's with lower km's but you can tell it was run hard or not maintained properly (clunky).
Then I found this from a dealer with a decent price... completely stock, looks good (same colour as my old gixxer) and runs smooth as butter!
I couldn't pass it up as quite a few thing they had in stock at a wicked deal (below cost). Rumble fender eliminator, set of led lights, Leo Vince exhaust, pazzo levers and a Shoei x12 lid. Needless to say, the bike is apart now and mods are being installed!
Here're a few pics from the dealer and first day home... pics of upgrades to follow.

just an update guys, here's a few pics of what I've done since stock one month ago incuding:
-Leo Vince exhaust
-fender eliminator
-led turn signals with led front flush mounts
-Blue Shorty adjustable levers
- Adjustable rearsets
-Solo seat (covered in vinyl cf wrap because color was off when ordered)
- Carbon fiber accents (vinyl)
- Scorpio alarm
- Rim tape
Been riding the past three days, insured all year round! Heated vest and winter gear really helps. Really, its my commuter to and from work when its dry and not icy/snowing.
looks nice. Do you have any more pics that properly show how the exhaust looks? I know that's the new style Leo Vince so I just wanted to see how it looks and how far out it sticks out

Yikes. Why did Leo Vince do that and have the new pipe stick out so much? Thanks for sharing though
Yeah, thats what thought too after installing but i guess i've become acustomed to it. I was going to take an inch off of it using a pipe cutter but havent gotten around to it yet. I've even looked at pictures online before purchasing and it didn't seem this bad...
That's nuts, Arrow does that too. Maybe they do that to protect them self from people who would complain about taillights melting or getting discoloured.
