2007 600rr crashed...help!!!

so my buddy lowsided his bike, plastics are all scratched but the bike wont run correctly. only time it will start and run is if someone is in the seat. as soon as the weight is off the seat the bike dies. anyone know what this could be. bike was lowsided on the right side. it wouldnt be the BAS right?

Yeah it wouldn't hurt to check the BAS sensor. It may came loose and move around when getting on or off the bike.

And that's located behind the cluster right? Do I have to take the fairin off to get to it or is there a way to avoid that

You should also check all of the connections under the seat, battery, ECU, etc. It could be that when you sit on the bike it's pushing something together to make the connection, but when you get up the connection is broken. I had something like that happen on an R6.
