Looking for some info on the standard BT 015 tires.I'm use to riding 2CT,s and plan to switch as soon as I can but as it turns out I pretty much used all my money on the bike.So I'm stuck with the BT 015 for another month or 2 at most.My question is can I trust them and just how hard can I push them? Thanks in advance.Regards Esa
the BT 015, is the predecessor to the BT 016, which has been out for a few years now...
I'm guessing your 15's are at least 4+ years old.
Check the date stamp.
I wouldn't be pushing hard at all, just take it easy until you can afford some new tires.
You can always try and get a set of scrubs from your local track/race tire supplier.
I would play it safe and not push the tires. It also depends on how much experience you have with your bike and how many different tires you have used before. Do you have the ability to tell when you are pushing a tire to its limits? I would keep the spirited riding on hold until I get the new tires. Maybe practice your emergency braking and clutchless upshifts for the time being
