Can anyone tell me from their experience if ill need a power commander? Will my bike run too lean or rich once I swap out the exhaust?

since it's just a slip on, you don't NEED a PC, but it will probably help. I don't have a PC on my bike and have the same exhaust, just not the black series

Do you notice a lot of popping at hard deacceleration?

So I just finished installing my new exhaust and it sounds amazing!!!!!
So here's what I'd like to find out......I hate the look of the heat shield. Does anyone else with a 2009 have any advice? Can I remove the upper heat shield?

I have two bros but not carbon and i don't have the heat shield on and put over 4500 miles an no sign of melting or anything. And the carbon one will run cooler as well.

get rid of the heat shield. When I get done riding I can touch my 2bros carbonfiber and it's just warm to the touch, not hot by any means

I took the whole thing off. It's completely up to you though. I like the color the pipe changes to. It's almost like an amber hue. I think it looks good.

Yup you can, I only felt some heat after a long ride but then it just went away. I have the upper heat shield removed currently and will remove the lower one soon.
