Noobie from Longisland. Picked up an 11 CBR 600RR as a left over from the dealer back in March. This is my first bike......

The lowering link lowers the bike by an inch, but as far as handling slight improvement

by lowering it will make it handle quite a bit worse (surely)?
how good is colour match of red mids,looks pretty good,did you rattle can them?

He did say Long Island though... Hmmm.

Nice bike though. Unless your 5'4" or under get it put back to standard ride height. It's not a car and doesn't improve by lowering.

Fir a first time bike owner you sure are mechanically inclined looking at the size of your tool box and started tearing her up really quick that is excellent man great mod job so far

Thanks bro , The bike is at my boy Tommys garage, he himself owns 3 Yamaha R1's. He is currently tearing up my bike up for the winter.

Now about the lowering my bike scenario I need all to clue me on this, although Im still new to this??

Its not going to really be a huge difference. Unless you plan on hitting twisties hard. It just makes the bike handle different then stock.

Strongly encourage you to take it BEFORE riding, if you've had zero motorcycle experience you will run into trouble if you dont take it easy at first, also be sure to gear up, sorry just looking out for a fellow rider and thanks for the comment, no worries to take some of my ideas, not like there secrets lol
