So sick of people always touting California as the 24/7 riding season capital.
Florida has less taxes, lower cost of living, less welfare recipients per capita, cuban women and the only gun control laws on the books are those which are federal laws. (We also have the most concealed carry permits in the nation. 1:18 Floridians can carry a gun)
Alright, time to go ride.

Fl indeed does have all these advantages but does not have the awesome twisted roads that CA has unless you live at Jennings , Morosso , Homestead raceway
I loved San Diego when I stayed there and drove to Laguna Seca daily to attend MoToGP practices & race back in 05 weather was perfect I honestly did not want to leave Sunday night

sun shines 365 days a year, even during the 10 that it rains! haha
only a high of 69 degrees today tho
110+ degree summers, w/humidity (monsoon) season?
No thanks.
I think it was around 64 today, no wind or humidity. Great day for a ride, too bad I'm stuck at work....bleh....

In terms of motorcycling, living in FL compared to CA kinda sucks. The drivers of both states are horrible with a slight edge to FL drivers being worse and tracks in FL suck.

That's why I LOOOOOVVEE where I live here in western NC.... I'm right at the foothills of the mountains, so a little lower elevation and warmer weather than they have up higher in the winter time. It gets chilly in the winter but not THAT cold (usually not much below freezing at night), usually little to no snow, so riding is still year round for me. And we have some of the best riding roads on the east coast right here in my back yard. So pretty much best of both worlds.... F'ing winning!!
I used to live in Flawriduh (Ft. Lauderdale.... north Cuba). I escaped in 2007 and have zero regrets, no desire to go back. Sure the warm weather in the winter is nice and no income tax, but I'll sacrifice those for awesome roads and mountains I can ride whenever I want, hiking trails galore, breathtaking scenery, real trees, much nicer people, almost no traffic, people speak English, less bike (and car) theft, much cheaper insurance, and about 1/3 the cost of living. Never want to move! Supposed to be 73 and sunny this entire weekend
