Hi guys,
So I recently purchased an 08 600RR and the next day I high-sided pulling out of a parking lot. Gave it a little too much gas and it was extremely cold out.
Luckily I'm fine. I was in full gear (helmet, jacket, pants, boots). Saved me from a lot of rash and having to buy a new set of jeans.
Anyway, the "unbreakable" shorty levers that came with the bike broke (aluminum cracked near spring). However, I can't get warranty on them since I don't have the receipt for them. Does anyone know a workaround to this? Would I be able to use someone elses receipt to get warranty on them? I know the bars were replaced about a 1.5 years ago, so they SHOULD be under warranty but I have no way to claim it.
