ASV F3 Shorty Brake Lever Warranty

Hi guys,

So I recently purchased an 08 600RR and the next day I high-sided pulling out of a parking lot. Gave it a little too much gas and it was extremely cold out. Luckily I'm fine. I was in full gear (helmet, jacket, pants, boots). Saved me from a lot of rash and having to buy a new set of jeans.

Anyway, the "unbreakable" shorty levers that came with the bike broke (aluminum cracked near spring). However, I can't get warranty on them since I don't have the receipt for them. Does anyone know a workaround to this? Would I be able to use someone elses receipt to get warranty on them? I know the bars were replaced about a 1.5 years ago, so they SHOULD be under warranty but I have no way to claim it.

Thanks!

(Sorry if this isn't under the category. Didn't know where else to put it.)

Did the previous owner fill out the warranty form?

You have to be the original owner of the levers to have the warranty be valid.
