I would be so down for one of these!

I wonder what the MSRP would be though??

Sh!t load.

If its fake, somebody build that anyway haha, you can get quite close just make a copy of the hannspree WSBK bike, that had alot of trick bits

If anyone is in the UK there's a company that worked with casey stoner back in the day and teams like stobart honda etc and can push out over 200bhp off a fireblade, they do all sorts of tuning, blueprinting, cryogenic treatment even of engines, and to top it off, they sell arata exhausts just to top off what will become a serious powerhouse bike. If I won the lotto i'd send them a fireblade for the full works, they've got dyno charts on their site doing bikes out to 208BHP that would be something else on the road...

I read an article about this in sport rider or motor cyclist magazine. Seems like they're actually going to do it now but the price is going to be ridiculous... Like, NR750 ridiculous.

Pretty sure this'll just be another hype story for a motorcycle site to get hits.

Photo looks like your standard photoshop mash up of a Fireblade and RC213V. I've no doubt the actual bike will end up looking something like that though.

I like the tail but the nose looks too much like the fireblade.

Looks like an artist watermarked his name onto the screen, but I can't read it well. It's an interesting idea, but on the surface this bike looks like any other Honda except for a couple of details (exhaust for example, but it has a Termignoni logo - not likely at all from the factory). The question is what price people will be willing to pay.

If they made it above the $20G note, I'd buy one but I highly doubt Honda will see it for that price LOL! 50k or 60k? what do you guys think it'll cost?

Well figure the Ducati 1199 Panigale R is going for $29,995. I dont think the Honda would go for more than that...

If you believe the rumours, it'll be significantly more than that.

I read in the region of £45k ($68k)

How much are the Desmos selling for now, above or below the MSRP when they came out?

I don't see the "worth it to me" value @ the estimated price in these unless they are 350lbs. I'd rather sink 40-50k into the RSV4 and save the rest of the money for trackdays/spares.

I don't think anyone buying one would have to choose between it and some other bike lol

If I can just throw that kinda cash around for something I thought would be neat to own, let me make the "real deal". Give me $100,000 and I'll take my favorite chassis and motor and combine my favorite swing arm, wheels, rear shock, forks, make a subframe to accept any bodywork pieces I choose from, LOTS of high grade materials and create something that would be be more fine tuned to my liking than any bike available could possibly do. Not to mention nobody else but me would have it. I just think that nearly always outweighs just buying something. You can get all the top grade tech and base a bike of your dreams for $10,000, then add $90,000 to the equation and you have an insane exotic sport bike.

After that you would have a bike with no provenance that is only worth about $15,000 whole, with limited appeal to anyone else except as a mine for pilfering that $90k worth of parts at a discount if you break it up. I would also find it very surprising that a piece together bike would work as well as an HRC homologation special designed to crush on the world level of racing. A 1990 RC30 is still desirable and valuable. Someone's custom build of the best parts available in 1990 is just a frankenstein of old, formerly expensive parts. This thing is nothing like throwing the credit card at a CBR.

This always cracks me up.
If anything, they're VERY GODDAMN GOOD "Photoshops". This is evident because it's difficult to tell whether they're photos of actual machinery, or manipulations.

You never know, if the real photo was linked maybe Honda would go and change it?

This will definitely be a collectors bike, wish they made a mass V4 1000 sport bike...
