^^ haha hell ya! u should make sum stencils or stickers like the decals on the army helicopters or jets. Possibly in black, white, grey, or red, etc. that could look AWESOME if done right! or maybe sum stickers of companies that have logos in military-looking lettering. eitherway, sweet lookin bike man, you got me thinkin ...
if u look real hard at my avatar pic (on the old R6 stunter) u might be able to see the "R6" on the tail that was stenciled, as well as the "YAMAHA" on the tank...i have some stars stencil/sprayed on the rr, but hard to see from the pic

im pretty sure the only place to get em is from MXD directly becuz he makes them per order. I don't think he makes a large quantity of them and sells em to other distributors. I think my buddy has MXD's number in his phone becuz hes always callin em wonderin where the hell his end caps are that he ordered 2 months ago and to ask em why his cage busted in 3 peices, etc ... (<--?? i dunno could be a hint to how things are ran there??) I'm still sayin u should look into Powers but i'll talk to my buddy and get that number for ya!
3 pieces? haha..ive been looking at the powers i was actually going to order one but im scared its going to stick out to far..i like how you can get the extened pegs for them though
You know my vote is Powers haha. I have personly only been around the Powers on my 600RR and a buddies old body R6 and a MXD on my other friends F4i.
The MXD is total trash now and he bought it like 4 months ago. It seemed like everytime it was dropped it would bend a lil more. After it was already half way trashed he let sum fool ride it and looped it at like 40 so that could have cause extra stress it wasn't designed to handle. This could be why its so trashed now but it seemed like it wasn't holdin up too well to begin with.
I have dropped 2 REAL hard pancakes on my Powers and it hasnt budged an inch. Don't see any sign of stress or bends. My buddy on the R6 is too good to drop it real hard so his hasn't really been fully tested haha. Any cage will stick out but this Powers doesn't seem any worse than others.
Anyways thats just my experience with both cages, but here is that number to MXD I told you I would get if you decide to go that route: 951 212 7400. lemme know which one you choose!
oh yeah is it true that when you crash the impact gets thrown to the other side of the cage?
not exactly sure what your trying to ask. like the impact is absorbed by the cage, and stressing the mounting points on the other side... like trying to push it away from the bike?
Powers is prolly one of the burliest cages out there. the even have pics on their site of them being ran over by a 1 ton truck. i'd think your frame an d motor mounts would give before it does.
