Why? The fairings no longer resemble a GP bike on the 07. It would look more poser than anything else.

It wouldn't bother me if people thought I was poserish for supporting Nicky by rocking his replica bike. I wouldn't buy one to impress other people, I'd buy it because I like the looks of it.
I'm all for it. In fact, I'll take two please. +1 for a Nicky replica bike.

I'm with you on the support of Nicky Hayden though. I just don't want to change my bike into a half ass rendition of his awesome GP bike.

Well neither does the 07 CBR1000RR to the 07 RC212V, now of course they are doing the replica on the 06 bike Im sure. But I must totatally disagree the 07 still has a great deal of family resemblance it is not so drastically changed as much as the RC212V is. So who out there can do a photoshop that we could then make up the minds of the week or non believers.

Uh, they have a Repsol Replica for the 2007 1KRR. That makes more sense than a 600RR Repsol Replica.

Please explain... Why do you think it makes more sense. Elaborate a bit to see where you are on this possition and I will argue the counter point as I see it.

They dont have a 1000 either. So now that they have an 800 for MotoGP where does tha tleave the 1000RR, see my point it not relavant to any bike it is jsut a marketing thing.

Niether one really makes any sense as the 600RR and the 1000RR are not much in common with the RC's are. It just a marketing thing and I would like to see Honda offer it to the best selling 600 honda makes.

No, because they screwed up the fairings! It would look ridiculous. They did the Movistar last year and it looks great. Oh, just noticed somebody else already wrote about this. I think the new bike looks OK, but the 05-06 was better suited to this kind of setup.

Replicas are only good while they are in fashion. IN my opinion make your own design. Its more fun and will be exactly what you want.
Besides Hayden will loose the title next year, so it will only stay a good rep for a year then itll be out dated.
Wonder how much that will stir things up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually you raise a good point, as you only want a Replica for 1 year as it has more value and is more desirable.

It would look ok but it's not for me. I like the Konica rep better.

if it's ever the case with my bike that i have to spend more than 800 bucks on repairing the bodywork, i'll just use that as an excuse to get a set of repsol fairings. i don't think they should offer them from factory though, because then everybody that bought one would get the repsol colors, and then they wouldn't be unique anymore.

WTB: '05 or '06 600RR
$6500 or under. Can add shipping costs to bike price if total is $6500 or under. Stock sprockets/ride height. Wouldn't mind a PC, sliders, alarm, steering damper. '03s and '04s considered. Able to buy in March.

i dont care wat year it came from, wat class, who rides it, which factory supports it, i dont care, if i like it, i would go for it.
repsols are getting a bit overused, just about every one i seen was the cheap egay plastics, but i still like the looks of it, just most likely wouldnt buy one, but you never know.
