Here is a little guide to removing your gas tank cover, and doing a vibration fix.
First thing you want to do is remove the tank, there are 2 bolts near the handlebars, 2 under the seat, and 1 on each side underneath the air ram cover. I will circle these in red.
Two up front: Pic 1
Under Seat: Pic 2
In order to take seat off you must remove the 2 screws where the blue arrows are pointing. Just sorta bend the foam to get to them.
Under Ram Air Cover: Pic 3
You will need to remove the air ram cover in order to get that 1 on each side. I recommend taking these 3 screws off: Pic 4
To remove the ram air cover do as follows:
First observe how it works: Pic 5
There are 2 tabs that snap into holes on the tank. The ram air cover itself is pretty flexible so you will need to bend it around a little.
On the opposite side there is a little round tab that goes into a hole on the other side of the ram air cover. Pic 6
Now the steps:
Get the tab out of the ram air cover hole which is on the side closer to the front.
To do this bend the cover upwards a little.
Pull the ram air cover towards the rear of the bike=
Once the tab clears the hole, pull up and get it out of the area.
Once you have that side removed get the tabs out of the gas tank slots.
I find doing this works best if you can pull the whole front part (side with that single hole in it) of the cover upwards then slide the tabs out.
There is no doubt you will need to play with it for a while.
Once you do this, you can remove the entire cover, repeat to other side.
Then remove the screws.
By this time you should have removed all 6 screws.
You can then try lifting the tank cover off. There are too small tabs connected to the smaller mid fairing that push into holes on the gas tank on the side as well. Shouldn't be hard to find these.
Once you get the cover off, install dynamat similar to a posting here:

Then simply put the cover back on and screw everything back into place. Carefully check the gas cap though. The rubber around it should be evenly flush into the hole. You have to play with it so that it fits nicely.
Thats all, hope it helps someone.
