Removing Lens from headlight

Okay so more and more people are asking me how I removed the headlight lens for my projector install so I figured I'd just post it up here for everyone. Its actually quite simple.

Obviously you must remove the entire headlight assembly from the nose. Make sure the wiring harness is off the headlights and then remove the two rubber nipples on the back of the lights. I then would set my oven to bake for 250 degrees. Place an oven thermometer in there if you have one to make sure its 250, if not then just wait another 5 minutes AFTER it says its ready just to be sure the temperature is up high enough.
Now just place the headlight on a cookie sheet covered in aluminum foil and place it in the center of the oven. What I would do is leave the oven ON for about 6 minutes and then turn it off, but leave the lights in for another 2. When the time is up just take em out and while wearing some form of glove (they will be toasty), start prying the covers off. Now dont be scared, they will be on there pretty tough but thankfully the covers are quite bulky so there is plenty of room to grab hold of em. So just pry the 4 tabs holding them on and just pry them open with screwdrivers and your hands. They will "crack" when you break the seal and then will just peel away.

To get the covers back on just repeat the process. Heat the oven to 250 and put the covers back on. Take em out of the oven and just press as HARD as you can. I didnt do it hard enough so there is a slight spot where light shines through.

Well thats pretty much it if there are any questions just ask.
