Hi guys.

Thought I'd post my findings just in case any of you out there are having the same problem.

Problem:
My brake light would not turn off at all. I checked the wiring for shorts, checked fuses, disconnected both front and rear brake switches, adjusted the plastic screw at the right rearset e.t.c.... nothing!

Solution:
The previous owner had a "carbon-fiber look" right hand brake lever. However, this cheap brake lever was failing to fully engage the brake switch (mounted underneath the brake reservoir)!

I simply replaced the cheap brake lever with a new (Honda) brake lever and the brake light now works perfectly. It's amazing how badly made some of the cheap aftermarket parts are. The fit/shape/size of the two levers are like night and day!

Hope this help all.

Josh
