What going on everyone?

Let me start by giving a little background of my situation and what I am looking to do.

Back in 2007 I ended up blowing ther main fuse underneath the seat on the bike but did not know it until about a year later. See my wife and I were going through some very tough times financially and we didn't have the money to get the bike running and spend to get it right. After sitting for so long, I opened up the fuel tank and realized that it was rusted on the inside. So I broke down the bike and took off the fuel tank and pump. I determined that neither one was good, so I have just bought a new tank and pump from a board bro... (Thanks Dean) Now that my wife and I are in a more stable financial situation, I am going to do what I have wanted to do for years. Fix it and get it back on the road. Now I already have planned to do a oil change, new plugs, and also a radiator flush. I am also replacing my chain because the original one is just rusty and nasty and needs to be done. Here's my questions:

With the bike sitting for so long, should I take the fuel rails and clean them out? What do you suggest I use to clean them with? I would assume that this is needed to be done, just not sure how to go about it.

What other things should I look to do as I go through this process? The bike has been broken down in my garage for a year. All the fairings are off, and I basically have a frame, motor and wheels. What type of oil, plugs etc do you suggest?

If the plugs aren't fouled, and the gap is still in spec you might not have to replace them. If you do, I would go with NGK, I think thats what Honda uses from the factory.

As far as oil, it comes down to preference. I like to run Mobil 1 full synthetic, some like Motul, some like Repsol, some like Amsoil. I also use the OEM filters.

As far as trying to clean out the engine and stuff. I would just put some premium in, and ride hard in first and second to clean out all the gunk on the valves.

Clean, adjust, and lube the chain as needed. Check the tires for cracks in the thread or sidewalls.

Above all, wear your gear and keep the rubber side down.

Thanks bro... Seems simple enough. I am already prepared that the first tank of gas is going to provide a rough ride... I just wanted to figure out what I need to do in order to get this thing right.
