I don't want to come off as if I'm beating you over the head but more of a brotherly love of correction. I can't help but to cringe every time I hear someone downshift without matching rpms (throttle blipping) and the transmission gears clunking like that. It's a necessary skill for any manual transmission even with a slipper clutch.

One of the best examples of staying in an rpm range, blipping the clutch, and controlling the bike is non other than Ghost Rider himself. He does an excellent job of matching rpm's and staying in the "power zone". That is the rpm range that your particular bike has the most acceleration torque and the most engine braking. It's a skill that needs to be mastered but it takes practice. For the 600RR that range is 9-15k rpm's. Notice where ghost rider stays in his rpm range?

Hey Greg, what are you using to record? A helmet mounted GoPro? I'm looking to record some rides and would like some input.

Which mount are you using? An aftermarket "chin strap" mount or a GoPro mount?

I was planning on using my smartphone but you bring up a good point about wind noise.

I looked at some of those kits with the 3M tape. I actually have some of the tape that I use on other things but I'm not likely to trust tape. I've learned one thing, if it's not bolted to the bike securely safety wire it with a tether. I lost my tag and tag light about a month ago on a long 100 miles trip through the back country. The new tag bracket is safety wired and another wire goes to my tag itself.
