^ thats what I was gonna say.. Best bet, sell all the parts and with the money u get from the parts pay off some of your loan.. try to bring ur loan down to 7k.. You wont have a problem selling a black 600rr for 7k during this time of year.. If you do decide to part out, I want the yoshi

if you buy out of state theres no sales tax, might be worth it if you live close to a state line. but im no fan of high jacking threads, but no1 is going to pay 9000 for a used bike, sorry man, your just going to have to take the hit.

Doesnt matter where you live.. I talked down a dealer here in Souther Cali (where dealers charge the most) down to $8700 OTD on a brand new 600RR.. u just gotta know how to talk to em..

My offer still stays, if you want to part out I want the yoshi

Actually I will tell you where.... Southern Powersports $7699 OTD with no fees,
Abernathys $7399 OTD In Tenn.
I can get an 05 brand new here in Kansas for $7599 OTD. So if you paid that much then you got bent over. Secondly like someone above said. Aftermarket parts do not increase value, so strip that sucka bone stock then sell it that way. My 05 is in the classifieds here for $6800 and only 2800 miles. Just trying to help you out. I wouldnt want you to get a sense that someone will pay that for your bike, nor take over the payments.

Even in Cali you can get a brand new 06 OTD for $8999 and someone here said they got one and talked them down to $8600 OTD.

I will give you $7200 for the bike, Brawman.

2 things wrong with that statement.

1. If you buy a NEW bike out of state, you can NOT import the bike into Cali. California has the most strict smog emission regulations that are nearly impossible to loop through.

2. Although you may NOT pay taxes at the point of sale, once you register it at the DMV, they will still charge you the sales tax that the other state didn't and automatically include it into your registration, along with a bunch of other fees and penalties like "Motorcycle Cross index, Sales Tax Penalty, Current Air Quality index, Non-Resident Origination" fees, etc. Might be worth trying in any of the 49 other states, but not here in CA.

ANYHOW, your best bet would be to strip the bike down (except for sliders—no one's gonna want to buy a bike with no sliders yet holes in the fairings) and sell stock. Ebay as much as you can but you are still gonna have to bite the bullet and cover the remaining balance since you are seriously upside down. Use the extended warranty to your advantage to draw a better response of buyers.

Good luck

Yes rendizo is right. There is no state that you can buy a bike from and get out of paying the sales tax on. Unless that state doesnt have a sales tax. I know I bought mine used thinking that I would get out of it. Went to tag the bike and got slapped with the 7.25 sales tax.

I remember a few months ago I got quoted on a 05 for around $8600 from Lacycles, then I talked to Oceanside motopro and they said they'd atleast match that and save me an extra 50+ miles of riding.

No he already said it was motorpro or motopro or whatever its called. If you drive down coast highway, its on the right side but I cant remember how far. It's a honda/Yamaha dealer. I think pacific motorsports is a suzuki/Kawi dealer.
