I just bought a 05 Honda CBR 600 RR and was terrified when I found out that it was restricted by factory to 100 bhp (for some european markets...)

Any info on how to remove this, will fitting a power comm. help?

who told you the bike is restricted this is the 1st time i hear of such a case
the power commander is not about HP gains but how smoother the fuel delivery and responsive the bike will be

What the heck is that crap about? Never heard of that one. I'm cranking out 104 according to the dyno printout.

VERY nice bike!

Well, for some EU countries there is an 100bhp version so younger guys can drive, there is an age restriction (under25),fo example Germany...

so is japan.

i believe some japanese bikes are restricted for the same reason.

and i believe changing out the ecu from a nonrestricted unit will remedy that problem. do not quote me on that though coz i have not worked on restricted bikes. ive only heard of them.
