Hey bike family, I currently own a 06 CBR600RR and my front rim is bent... I’ve been looking on eBay and can’t find an 05-06 front rim.

I’ve been seeing talks that the 03-04 rim will “SAFLEY” work on an 06, the rotor size is just different. How true is this statement? And if true does it give you less stopping power?

Starting to become depressed, please help!

Where are you?

OE wheels are very light, EASILY bent, it can be done by hitting a Bott's dot lane marker if you're leaned over at speed.

Wheels can be straightened. I've done this for 5 wheels on my 09 CBR

I use "Frame Man" out of Sacramento CA area.

He charged $150 for a 3 axis true, ships UPS and he does a great job.

Ask best local bike mechanic and best auto rim service shop if there's a local(ish) to you wheel straightener.

Use search OTF to verify if 03-4 is same as 05-6?

IIRC they are same....but check

Beware, many used ebay wheels are out of true.
