86Nm = 64 foot pounds torque

nice find, hey what 1000rr is the one at the bottom of the color lineup?
All it says is it's "Special." No further on that one.

I recently asked my brother, and he said there's strict laws on the engine output in Japan. That's why it's detuned.

I believe that I read in another post that it is the HRC color scheme.

I just asked him again, and he says that 40HP is the max for 250cc and below, 53HP for 400cc, 69HP for 600cc, 96HP for 600cc and above.

Yes, I'm sure it's true, too! The 53 for 400's is definately true. It was 59 until 1994 or something, then they reduced it. This is one of the main reasons Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha don't sell their sport bikes domestically, I suspect. If you want one, you need to reverse import it from the US, Europe, Canada, Australia, etc. Only Honda sells sport bikes in Japan without importing them from elsewhere. Some bikes are sold sporting "US specs" or somewhere else.
