you'll be off by about 20mph with that gearing on most bikes.
call superbikesupply and buy a speedo healer.

i wish i took a pic of it, but i know EXACTLY how much its off on a 07 600RR.
im running -1 +2 (15/44) 520 pitch and my speedo reads 177-178 mph in 6th gear on the rev limiter.
when i put a GPS on my bike, the fastest recorded speed was 151 mph.

so the speedo is off by 26-27 mph at redline or around 15%.

Is there a huge noticeable pull now that you run the 15/44? I'm thinking of doing this soon...

Speedo would be off by a percentage, not a specific amount.
what part of ABOUT did is so specific?
trust me, ive ridden and help check R6, R1s, ZX10, and my 1k RR, theyre usually off ABOUT 20mph

hey guys on stock gearing the bike is accurate up to 70mph granted its off a little but not as much as you think

even with a speedo healer all bikes will off when your at speeds above 100 or so

So, what you're saying is that when I'm going 1mph, it's off 20mph? and when I'm going 120mph, it's off 20mph? If you're going to say that it's off 20mph, then at what speed is it off at 20mph? When doing gearing changes, the effect it has on the speedo is a percentage. It's basic math. You don't need to know anything about motorcycles to know that.

i run a -1,+2 and i think mine is off by about 10-17 mph when i get going. seems to be pretty accurate i think in the lower speeds...ie, up to 30-40 maybe...def gotta get a speedo healer.
