just wondering if anybody has any 1/4 mile times from a stock 600rr with a slip-on and pwrcomm. saw one guy say he went 1.45 to 1.60 60 foot times. i say bull, with out wheelie bar or more. i went a [email protected], with a 1.78 60 foot. this is at about 300 feet above sea level in mississippi. this is a friends of mine bike. made 5 passes, from 10.92. 10.80. 10.73. 10.69, then 10.65. best mph 131.05. went slowest of 129.80. think i could have done better with some more passes, but ran out of time. have the 10.65 pass on video, sounds damn good. my personal bike is a 2000 f4. have gone a best of [email protected] my best 60ft time on it a 1.74. two bros slip on, one tooth up on the rear. goes through the lights perfectly in 4th, just touching the rev lim right past the finish line. would like to hear some other times from more people. steve

cbr600- what rpm's you launch at? i've been to the track twice and the best i could get was a 12.0, i suck though and need to practice my launches big time. you clutchless shifting also? how fast are you letting out the clutch?

that's an awesome time. post the vid when you can.

hey marshall @678, coming out about 4000 to 4500, feeding a good bit of first initial clutch, but letting the motor try to rev at 9 or 10 or so , then on to redline. no clutch shifting. chop the throttle like a dirtbike. gotta do it right, quick and positive. short shift 4th about 14000. my 1/8 mile time on that 10.65 pass was a 6.93 @107.11. i know i can go faster on this bike, with about 5 or 6 passes. those other passes were in that order too! a little more clutch, throttle each time. how do you put a video on the web?
