thankies. I saw another member with it on here who had it in red on his RR... can't remember his name :banghead:

but it's off eBay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0493320425&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT

quality was awesome. it came in 16 quarter-wheel strips and 1 spare strip (which i needed when i fooked up one section)
due to the pattern it took a little guesswork with the spacing between each strip, as they don't come on a sheet where you can just put them end to end to get the positioning right, but it came out ok.
And from a foot or two away you can hardly see any wonky or mis-aligned bits. :banger:

i gots the red one like that =) iunno if you saw it on my bike whatever
looks good eh?!!

I like it much better than the standard full strip
but I opt'd to get the non reflective

when i applied these, just make sure your rims are SUPER clean
I wd-40'd and rubbing alcoholed the crap outta it.
Then I took painters tape, and just taped them all to the rim first to get the spacing
and pulled each strip and applied as I moved along.

ah yes. t'was you! :ciao:

i just used car shampoo and water to clean the rims, then dried with a rag, then used some methylated spirit to degrease the rims.

good plan with the painters tape tho... i did it by eye :shakehand

i quite like the reflective. figured it'd be good for some extra nighttime visibility

thanks, i really like it and can't quite figure out how i managed without something blue to fill the void on the rims.

yeah, i've never been too fussed about rimtape, until i saw these... the design of them just looked awesome and i had to grab them. And the price wasn't too bad either.

As far as i'm aware it is the OEM fairing, but i bought the bike used, so can't be 100% sure.
