hey there.

I'm looking at picking up a used 03 or 04 CBR-600RR.. not sure yet and just kind of seeing what I can get for the best price out there in San Diego.

Now, what prices am I looking at for a bike with roughly around 5k on the clock and in good condition?

do the 2003/2004 come stock with a steering dampner? passenger seat? anything i should be looking out for?

my 2004 is just now a year old and has 8k miles already, riding only once a week.

back when I was shopping, a used 03 with 7k miles was consistently around $7k. I;d guess you can get a 04 for that now. Maybe $6k for an 03.

no steering damper stock, no rear seat cowl (passenger seat is stock).

they had a brake recall on either 03 or 04 not sure which year...

make sure you keep that in mind, I think it wasn't all for the particular they had specific vin#'s that were recalled but it was a good amount...

The 600RR doesn't come with a steering damper stock. It comes with a pessenger seat, not a a rear seat cowl. To me, 11k miles is not that bad if it has been properly maintain.
