hi everyone.

today im broken into a million pieces. My bike was running absolutely wonderful took it out for a spin and did a top speed pull , slowed down and the dreaded knock is there , I pulled over turned it off and it wouldnt start . used a jumper cable and it did rode it for 3 miles back home changed the oil and the knock is still there seems to be coming from crankcase cover.

i looked at youtube videos and im suspecting a rod knock...but im confused as why that would happen. I do top speed runs all the time and stop at the rev limit...

this fourm suggests a new engine but im on a college budget right now.
Can i diy fix this ? I will post a video tom hopefully itll give some insight

Knock is there when i turn it on and increases with the rev it is constant.

If it requires +500$ Im parting it out or selling it as is

im aware, just hoping that i wouldnt have to do that but i think its my only option as it seized after starting it again,

how hard is it to swap the engine ? will i need allot of tools ? i have light mechanical experience (replaced swingarm/subframe) but an engine swap seems major i do have a manual handy
