Hi~
I am new to riding and just bought a used 2004 cbr600rr about two months ago. I did notice my rear brakes were weak, so i bled them. I still think they are a bit soft so I was reading up on cbr brakes when i stumbled upon this:
I read this on nhtsa website:
Make: HONDA Model: CBR600RR Year: 2004
Service Bulletin Number: 09242004 NHTSA Item Number: 10010451 Summary Description: REAR BRAKE LINKAGE SAFETY RECALL NOTICE. UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES, THE PUSHROD AND/OR THE TIE ROD BUSHING IN THE REAR BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER CAN BECOME CORRODED THEREBY AFFECTING THE REAR BRAKE FUNCTION. *TT
has anyone gone had their rear brakes replaced? if so, what needs to be done? thanks for your info~
