19 has been the normal # for the last 2 years.

BUT KR isn't confirmed...

Dovizioso is moving up to MotoGP with his current team, that team may join forces with JiR. JiR runs Konica Minolta.
Dovi's team is Humangest Racing Team... sponsored by Scot

Hmm.. I don't know about that. We know Stoner is good. The question remains how good Melandri will be on the Ducati. I am sure he is going to feel the pressure being an Italian riding for an Italian Manufacturer.

What about Konica Minolta Honda, currently w/ Nakano?
Just as former Konica rider Makoto Tamada will surely forever regret the switch from Bridgestonetyres, countryman Nakano must wonder what might have been had he stayed at Kawasaki - Shinya having only managed a best finish of tenth on the troubled combination of a satellite RCV on Michelin tyres so far this season.

With Honda's 250cc title contender Andrea Dovizioso strongly linked to Nakano's seat for 2008, Nakano is under pressure for results - while JiR is also feeling the heat of underperformance, which could result in some form of merger between Dovi's existing Kopron Team Scot outfit and JiR for 2008.

"I think Shinya now needs to show an aggressive approach for the Estoril race," said team manager Gianluca Montiron. "We know Shinya has had difficulty adapting to his new 2007 package, but we are at the point in the season where we need to get some good results to continue in the current direction or perhaps look at a different overall strategy for the team."

So far nothing more...

Ceratinly a big race for him this weekend...

Shinya Nakano – Rider, KONICA MINOLTA Honda
“As you can imagine I’m very much looking forward to my home race in front of the fans, the Honda factory and KONICA MINOLTA! Being a Honda track it’s very important to do well here! I like Motegi very much, but it is a stop-and-go circuit with some hard braking and accelerating areas. The overall grip on the circuit isn’t too bad, although in the past I’ve found the circuit pretty tough on tyres, so we will see what will happen with my 2007 package of the Honda RC212V and Michelin tyres. With the steady improvements that we’ve made over the last few races, I think that we will have a pretty good package for this, my home race!”
