Forgive me for writing that brand on here, but I dunno what it is, I rode the 2010 GSXR750 and it's just that CC, I'm drawn to it, Honda doesn't seem to be coming to the party anytime soon so I'm still thinking about it, currently I'm thinking next bike fireblade(ridden that as well, I'm not getting another bike tomorrow or anything, still modding the 600rr) but then I keep thinking again about a 750cc sportbike, the 2010 I rode i wasn't impressed the engine paint seems flaky and it just felt like Honda could do more with that 150cc's, still good for commuting though, and that extra 150cc's does make a nice exhaust sound, suzuki's sound good from stock nice deep rumble(an attractive I have with litre bikes also).

I must be losing it right? Anyone ridden the 2011+ one I heard they made changes for 10-11 and reduced weight etc(which would up the power to weight ratio and possible impress me more with that 150cc's extra like it should), I've only owned Honda motorcycles so although I've ridden GSXR600's and 750's etc and other like minded bikes, never had any reason to leave Honda, almost scared of doing so like the world would collapse and doomsday would approach haha:cruising:

So, what does anyone who's ridden the 11+ 750 think of it?

One thing I do know, my 08 600rr sells on the local market for more than the 08 750's! Now that says something about Honda! haha

I've though about it several times. I almost pulled the trigger this past apron for a 11 gixxer 750. I still wish I did though but I think a lot of it is the withdrawals of riding for me. I live in the Midwest of the USA so we have winter weather ...

Im looking for a new track bike and I'm really swaying between the '07-'09 600rrs again OR '08 750s.

My experience has only been on an '05 750 and it was nice. Flickable and powerful. I just don't know about their reliability/crashability.

That extra 150cc IS tempting so I know what you're going through. Good luck and hopefully someone will admit their experiences with one. lol

Yea I rode the 2010 for a month as said and yes the quality for me is an issue, the engine paint seemed very thin low quality(chipped in one place), think if i stray from honda i always be thinking, i could've had the better built one...and i don't think I can live with that, also prices hold better for honda, my bike is the same cost as not only newer 750's it's also got that 150cc less and still costs the same...BUT nobody really complains about the torque and the ride so maybe I needed to ride the 2011+ but the suzuki next door has a blanket rule that means I can't test ride and yet honda do and guess who gets my business and does my servicing...honda, bmw is the same except they're even strickter so i couldn't get on the s1000rr...:cursin:

I was thinking of starting up a tiny company and getting all the hard to find specialist parts from all over, things like sato racing hooks or rizoma oil caps etc you just can't find them easy in the UK...if i filter those things onto something like ebay i'll be the only one doing it but by myself it'll be tough going for a while, i can setup a company for a few £ thats not the problem and my dad was an accountant most of his life i can register him in, but free business banking is hard to find there's always fineprint like charging for cheques etc...but thats another reason to stick with what i know...the honda brand isn't going away tomorrow :)
