Hey All!

I am currently trying to figure out what the best route to take for converting my bike to a full system. I already have an M4 slipon on the bike. Now the only available headers for the bike are akra and arrow which are $600-$800. The other way is to cut the cat off the stock exhaust and add a mid-pipe.

From what I have seen the mid pipe does not get rid of the exhaust valve (it just adds the servo bypass that you plug in).

My question is will I get the same power from adding the mid pipe and getting rid of the exhaust valve as I would just adding the headers?

Thank you for your help!

I got a set of these:

https://www.shop.mjsperformance.com/product.sc?productId=16&categoryId=59

Eliminates the cat and EGCV, fits any slipon.

You won't get any power unless you have a Bazzaz or Dynojet or something to change the fueling. And then, really only at the top end. Not really a great investment if that's what you're wanting.
I have already got the bike ecu tuned due to stock engine braking being really hard once you let off the throttle. I am just looking for the best option.

Thanks for your input. Much appreciated!
