Apparently, Honda brought the bike back again for 2023. Oklahoma Honda Suzuki has one, already fitted with a beautiful Yoshimura exhaust and different signals and license plate. Same exact color scheme as my 2021.

Good to hear, imho no need to change.

These bikes are close to perfect as is.

(they could be a bit lighter.....but that's an aspect that impacts reliability)

For Supersport racing purposes the tech has moved onwards.

heh, heh... I got call from shop in Santa Barbara I had been using for decades. I was actually looking for CBR1000RR-R SP last year, but they couldn't get it. Offered me CBR600RR instead. Not that much improved over previous versions really. Currently my '07 is 376-lbs with 4-ltr petrol in tank, enough for 1 session or race on track. I'm going to work on lightening it up some more, CF wheels, CF one-piece subframe, titanium bolts, new harness with aluminium wires and micro-connectors, etc. THEN, it'll be perfect!

Extra weight of litre-bikes just kills handling, I don't like that.
